AN INTRODUCTION TO OCEAN AMINO CARP FISHING BOILIES
Following the triumph of our Sweet Amino range, the first boilie crafted with our unique blend of powdered Aminos (as seen in part 1 of our blog series), there has been a fervent request for a fishmeal-based boilie that incorporates the same Amino blend. Our fundamental principles for producing a boilie that Carp will consistently consume remain unchanged: it must provide nourishment, promote their well-being, and be highly coveted by the fish. This results in more catches and healthier fish.
Fishmeal boilies have long been favoured by Carp anglers for their reliability and effectiveness. However, some bait companies have been known to cut corners and produce subpar boilies by using inferior base mix, fish oil, and dyes. HOW DID WE DECIDE ON THE RIGHT AMINO BLEND

There are numerous articles and scientific studies available that explore which amino acids are most appealing to fish, the varying degrees of effectiveness, and the history of their use in the fish rearing industry. Although some of these articles may be challenging to comprehend, they were the foundation of our research, testing, and development, resulting in what we believe is a significant improvement in the appeal and effectiveness of our carp bait.
WHAT'S IN THE BASE MIX?
Our Ocean Amino Base Mix is a combination of Fishmeal, Krill Meal, Crab Powder, Shrimp Paste, Liquid Fish Protein, Soya, and other dry ingredients. These are expertly blended to ensure practical rolling. We also add a mixture of spices, mainly Paprika, to maintain consistent colour.
Our powdered Amino Acid blend is added in the same quantity as the rest of our range. We do not use artificial Dyes or Fish oils in any of our boilie products. As previously explained in our bait blogs, oil is not water-soluble and artificial dyes taste unpleasant. However, because we don't use Dyes or colorings, the bait's colour may vary slightly due to the seasonal variation in the raw materials' colour. For instance, the fishmeal can be lighter or darker, depending on when it was harvested and processed.
